    Irregular verbs- A2 level<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Irregular verbs in English don\u2019t follow the usual \u201c-ed\u201d rule to talk about the past. They change in special ways. Sometimes, the way they sound or how they\u2019re spelled changes. Other times, they use a completely different word for the past. For example, usual verbs go like \u201cwalk\/walked\u201d or \u201cplay\/played,\u201d but irregular ones are different, like \u201cgo\/went\u201d or \u201ceat\/ate.\u201d You have to remember these different past forms because they don\u2019t follow the normal rule, and that\u2019s what makes them special in English!
